Edinburgh to Peebles by Bus The Border Bus X62 from Edinburgh bus station goes at 5 and 35 minutes past the hour. The journey time is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. The museum is a 2 minute walk down the High Street from the bus stop. Please click here to view the X62 timetable. Car Parking There is limited car parking on the High Street but the best car park is by Edinburgh Road - about 5 minutes walk from the museum (it is free Monday to Friday!).

ACCESSIBILITY The museum occupies a ground floor room, the access to which is from the street. There is a small step into the museum but, on request, we can provide a ramp for easy wheelchair access. DOGS We do not allow dogs into the museum except for Assistance dogs.
